If I didn’t have grandiose ambitions to be a pastor, then the next best thing would probably be being in Flight of the Conchords. After all, they are “New Zealand’s 4th most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo”. I remember a mate introducing me to them with the epic seven-minute Jenny a few years ago… brilliant.
My sister just sent me this clip below which is them at their best, albeit with the help of a heap of kids and NZ celebrities. The story is that for Red Nose Day 2012 they interviewed a load of Wellington and Auckland schoolchildren, and “together” created this charity single, “Feel Inside (And Stuff Like That)”, which happened to go straight in at number 1 in the NZ charts.
