Seven up...

1) The Pumpkin Story - Faith in Kids invite us into 'all things pumpkin' as they seek to help us rejoice in the gospel at Halloween.

2) Bringing Light to Halloween - I also loved Anna Price's story of their church's Light on a Dark Night event! Check it out!

3) The Humanity of Hospitality - Yes! And not a million miles from the previous article, Carl Trueman reflects on the essential role of hospitality in fostering authentic human connection, particularly in today’s fragmented society. This goes beyond mere politeness or entertainment, requiring genuine engagement and a willingness to be vulnerable. Inspiring stuff!

4) Pixar Story Rules - Have I posted this before? Not sure. Thoughtful stuff for anyone involved in communication - and anyone who wants to think about why Pixar stuff does so well.

5) 9 Edifying Films to Watch This Fall - Do you ever collapse in an evening in front of the TV and find yourself Googling 'best new films to stream'? Well, Brett McCracken wants to be your friend and has saved you a few minutes!

6) 'Our Father' - Last week I had the privilege of preaching on Jesus teaching his followers to pray using the 'Lord's prayer', as we now call it. But this week I was introduced to some of poet Malcolm Guite's Sonnets on those words. And this is a beautiful opener, 'Our Father', articulating the wonder of discovering the language that Jesus the divine Son used to address God the Father could be ours...

7) 'Trick or Treat?' - Glen Scrivener - For something that's become something of a classic, I always enjoy coming back to Glen's spoken word piece, Trick or Treat. Amen!
