Seven up...

1) Acknowledging the Unseen - Christian Walker writes about her experience of miscarriage and explores how we can give dignity to the 'unseen' children.

2) Fly Through The Bible by Open the Bible (OTB) - OTB have been providing free a daily Bible broadcasts and reflections for a number of years, but they've recently launched a brilliant new resource called Fly Through The Bible. It's a short and simple journey through the Bible’s story - think of it as a 'light touch' Bible overview - which could be used 1-2-1 as an evangelistic tool, or in a church small group as a more basic bible overview. There's a book, but there's also a free app and free small group guide and videos on the website. Check it out - I'm going to be recommending this to friends.

3) He Might Not be an Narcissist, He Just Might be an “Arcissist” - Stephen McAlpine playfully and perceptively puts his finger on our perhaps inadvertent support for harmful behaviours in church leadership.

4) Remembering William Tyndale - Today, October 6th, the Church of England remembers William Tyndale, for it was the date on which he was strangled and burned for heresy just north of Brussels in 1536. James Cary's blog is a brilliant read generally, but this is a wonderful reminder of Tyndale's passion, work, and legacy.

5) Why Do the Exvangelicals Rage? - This is a fascinating look within the deconstruction 'trend' and, in particular, how social media is playing a part in how and why anger is being expressed but not necessarily resolved, as part of performative feedback loops.

6) One doorstep to a family of new believers - This is a utterly wonderful 5-minute video story that comes about from normal people prayerfully lovingly knocking on someone's door and starting a conversation - and the power of God going before us and working through us! Thanks, London City Mission!

7) How Disney Makes An Animated Film - For something a bit different, this is a website you could spend hours on! Disney takes you behind the scenes on animation, with heeeeeaps of stunning explanation on exactly how it happens. So grab your popcorn and dive down the rabbit hole!
